While he has played guitar for a good while, Joseph was also throw into a new role with the inception of Better Empty. He went from playing indie alt music to being the main riff writer for a heavy band. Even though this is a big change for him, he never backed down from the challenge and continues to write heavier and more catchy riffs with every song.
